Drinking Tea With Vee is a weekly talk show/podcast with a business slash entrepreneurial flair. Hosted by yours truly, me, Vee. It is an up-close and personal space where every and anything is discussed; From the boardroom to the bedroom. Mmmhhhmm… I said it. Nothing is off-limits. Basically, what is referred to as “your Sunday slumber party with a business slash entrepreneurial flair” for the ladies. For guys, it’s a sneak peek into the female psyche.

We are holistic beings, so being fantabulous comes with a holistic approach: being successful in our personal life and in our business/career. The aim is to share tips, tricks and tools to be fantabulous in every aspect of life. If we, as a community, were to inspire and help each other up, then we all win. I am all about the WIN-WIN: creating synergy! I win, you win, we all win. This, to me, sounds like a partay!

About me, Vee!
Oooooo…. You made it all the way here. I guess must want to know more about me. Well, honey, let me give you the tea that you came to get.
My roots
I am a Caribbean European, born in Aruba, raised in Aruba and St. Maarten and currently living in The Netherlands. As many many students of the Dutch Caribbean islands, I came to The Netherlands to further my studies. I guess I didn’t do too bad… I mean having a Bachelor (Biology) and double Master (Science and Business Management) isn’t too shabby. So mission accomplished!
My background
Growing up with an entrepreneurial grandmother was awesome! She doesn’t think much of it, but she was rockin’ it doing her thing. She didn’t always explain things, I got to learn a lot by seeing her in action: she would take us (her grandchildren) everywhere she went. That was priceless! I feel like I got that entrepreneurial bug from her (and my dad 🙂 ).
Following suit, from the age of 14, I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure of working with several organisations like YMCA and The Methodist Church dealing with supporting young people in their journey through life and helping them to be(come) the best versions of themselves. Being in positions of leadership from a relatively young age caused me to start working on myself early: if done right, leadership is like holding up a mirror or a magnifying glass to yourself.
Me (today)
I am grounded, ambitious, caring and keep a curious mind. The latter is the base for the love of learning. That is my essence beyond anything I do or achieve. I love connecting with people who are on entrepreneurial vibes as well (a bird of a feather and iron sharpens iron type thing I guess). I’m a foodie who loves fabulous places & things and who is on a mission to be/stay fit in all sense of the word.
Career-wise, business and marketing consulting is my thing. I’m also a Content Creator, as you can tell here on DTWV. My purpose is being a catalyst to people to become the best version of themselves. I do that via online Mindset Mentorship in which I share practical tools and best-practices. I feel like I’m in a sweet spot because my vocation and purpose meet and as I get to help people and businesses (which are actually people working together for a common commercial goal) to level up and meet their desired goals more effectively.
